Born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines, he was a retired U.S. Air Force and Hawaii National Guard master sergeant, electronic technician for World Wide Flight Services and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Fil-Am Golf Club and Tsunami Golf Club. Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday (May 25) at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Nancy Gabriel of Hilo; daughters, Gigi (Ala Wailani) Gabriel and Malia (Henri Wilbur) Gabriel of Hilo; sons, Dennis A.R.
